Our Rock and Crystal Expert
Robyn Dimond
When I was a little girl, I was interested in Rocks, especially the pretty ones. I loved their texture, shape and design. I painted the plain ones and sold them to my Dad for 5 cents each. I also loved fabric, spools of thread, buttons and lace of all kinds.
One day my husband, who also loves rocks in their natural state, bought me a book about the healing properties of crystals and gems. Each page had a photo of a stone, and told about it; giving a short history of when and where it was found. But it also told about the energy and the healing properties of the stone. I learned that besides its natural beauty, they can help you with stress, headaches, pain, depression, self-esteem, sleep, anger, joy and more. More importantly, I read how they can help the body respond more favorably to the modern medicines of today.
I decided to try an experiment. I have a friend who suffers from chronic depression, but is unable to take any of the medications that are used for this condition. I figured I didn't have anything to loose, so I made her a CITRINE and MOONSTONE necklace. The results were so surprising that I have been using rocks and gemstones ever since and never pass up the chance to learn more about them. CARNELIAN helps the common cold, which we all get each year.
Today I quilt, sew and bead necklaces and bracelets. I attend a lot of gem fairs with my husband and enjoy wearing my gems and crystals. But most of all , I love sharing my creative gifts with others, and seeing the difference it makes in their lives.I live inSandy, Utah, with my husband, two grown sons and a granddaughter.
